Durante l’alta stagione (Marzo-Ottobre) capita di iniziare con i walking tour la mattina presto e non fermarsi che a tardo pomeriggio. Senza accorgersi si macinano chilometri su chilometri, e quando i piedi fanno male…un “butto” ( = passaggio) per la stazione in watertaxi è proprio quello che ci vuole!

Did you know? Besides the famous lace, in Burano you may also find delicious seafood, biscuits and…gelato! Here I was, savoring some scoops together with Jen and Bill at the end of our shore excursion to the islands of the Northern Lagoon. I go crazy for chocolate, how about you?

Wenn der Tag zu heiß wird, erfrische Ich mich gerne bei einer Bootsfahrt über den Canal Grande und die kleinen Kanäle der Stadt! Deswegen kann man Venedig aus ihrer besten Perspektivesehen… das Wasser!

On our second day together, Pat, Don, Craig. Nicky and I went over to Murano and Burano islands for an artisan tour amongst glass blowers and lace weavers. We also stopped over in Torcello to discover the most ancient settlement in the Venetian Lagoon. We had such fun together that we became friends and keep in touch even now!
